Summer Kale Salad

This is a great, healthy option that tastes yummy as well!  The homemade dressing adds a sweet yet subtle kick of spiciness that blends beautifully with the crunchy kale, almonds and apple ingredients.  Once you try it, you won't be able to resist!

Ingredients: 

Kale 

Green apple 

Craisins

Shaved sliced almonds

Salad dressing contents:

Olive oil

White balsamic vinegar 

Orange juice 

Honey

Red pepper flakes

Preparation Instructions:  Clean and chop kale.  Slice green apple into thin triangular pieces.  Mix chopped apples, craisins, almond slices and kale in a mixing bowl.  To make the dressing, mix olive oil, white balsamic vinegar, orange juice, honey and red paper flakes.  Combine contents with dressing and mix well.  Salad can last 3-4 days refrigerated.
